Returns and refunds
All return requests and claims of mis shipments, shortages, defective workmanship, etc. MUST be made within 30 days from receipt of the shipment.
A Return Authorization must be obtained prior to returning any eligible item. A Return Authorizations can be obtained through your Riddell.com account or by calling our Consumer Care Team at 1-888-681-1717, Ext 1.
The return shipping cost is at the customer’s expense. Your return must be shipped to the Riddell address printed on your packing slip. Within one week of receiving your return, we will inspect the equipment to ensure that it is new and unused. Upon completion of this inspection, we will issue a refund less any applicable restocking fees. Please note that it may take up to 10 additional business days for your payment method to reflect the refund.
NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN WORN, WASHED OR USED.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
Returns on eligible items will not be accepted if any part of the above is not followed. This includes, but is not limited to, returns attempted past 30 days from shipment receipt, returns without the proper authorization forms and returns without a valid return authorization code.
- Varsity Football Helmets - There is a $75.00 restocking fee that applies to all Varsity Helmet returns that are not the result of a manufacturer’s defect.
- Youth Football Helmets - There is a $30.00 restocking fee for Youth Helmets with a final price of $150.00 or less. The restocking fee is $60.00 for any helmet over $150.00.
- Custom Shoulder Pads - Custom shoulder pads are not returnable. No exceptions will be made.
- Stock Shoulder Pads - There is a $10.00 restocking fee that applies to all in stock/non-custom shoulder pad returns that are not the result of a manufacturer’s defect.
- Loose Helmet Parts (including face masks) - No restocking fee.
- Collectible Helmets (NFL, College) - No restocking fee.
Orders are processed promptly, on a first in, first out basis.
- Custom helmets orders average 2-3 weeks from the date the order was placed for delivery.
- All in-stock merchandise (stock shoulder pads, loose helmet parts, and collectible helmets) average 1-2 weeks from the date the order was placed for delivery.
- Custom Power Shoulder Pads and nonstandard face masks will ship average 4-6 weeks from the date the order was placed for delivery.
The only delivery method we offer is FedEx Home Delivery.
- Delivery Times: 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S., 3−7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii.
- Service Days: Monday−Saturday. Delivery is between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
- Exceptions: FedEx Home Delivery cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

Cancellations of Orders
An order cannot be cancelled or changed under any circumstances. Please review your order carefully prior to finalizing it. We will send you email updates through every stage of your order. In each email your current order"s status will be shown. Each order status is explained in the table below. We deliver most parcels via our courier. You can track these parcels by clicking on the parcel reference link on your email. Helmet status information
|Released||Your helmet has been released to our production floor. We will start building your helmet shortly. Plan for 2-3 more weeks to receive your helmet|
|Parts Pulled||We have gathered the necessary parts to build your helmet and production will begin. Plan for 2-3 more weeks to receive your helmet.|
|Pre-Paint||We are preparing your helmet to be painted. Plan for 1-2 more weeks to receive your helmet.|
|Post-Paint||Your helmet has been painted and will proceed down the assembly line. Plan for 1 more week to receive your helmet.|
|Complete||Your helmet has been fully assembled and is progressing to our shipping stage.|
Promotions and discounts
Coupon Codes and offers are only good at Riddell.com or via our Customer Care Team.
Coupon and promotional codes are required at the time of your order to take advantage of our offers. For product offers, the item must be added to your cart, and the coupon code applied at checkout for the appropriate discount.
Free shipping offers must meet any stated merchandise minimum, and the appropriate coupon code entered at checkout.
Only one coupon code allowed per order.
There may be a limit of what you must spend in order to utilize coupon codes. If so, this will be noted next to the coupon code in the above newsletter
